Our colorFabb_XT, nGen, nGen_FLEX and colorFabb_HT are made from Amphora™ 3D Polymer by Eastman Chemical Company. Amphora is a range of materials developed and produced by Eastman for FDM 3D printing. With these raw materials colorFabb produces high quality filaments, a co-operation we started in 2013. Many formulations of specialty polyesters have been tested for functionality, printability and safe printing.
All these efforts have lead to a unique formulation for 3D Printing that features excellent properties : High strength and very high toughness, Odor Neutral processing, High Tg / improved temp. resistance, Styrene free formulation, FDA food contact compliance, BPA (Bisphenol A) free formulation.

nGen has a much wider processing window compared to XT, and is much more hydrolitical stable, so will be easier to print compared to XT. We designed nGen to replace PLA, not to replace XT. colorFabb_HT is made with Amphora™ HT5300 and is a low-odor and styrene-free material uniquely suited for advanced 3D printing users, particularly those who need their models to exhibit excellent durability, toughness and high temperature resistance with a Tg of over 100⁰C. colorFabb_HT empowers professional users to create more durable and useful items, making prototyping truly functional. Compared to nGen, the XT is much tougher and has a really high melt strength for better bridging. For engineering parts, colorFabb_XT and colorfabb_HT are better suited but its processing window is more narrow.
These 3 materials are also food contact compliant.
nGen_Flex is a semi-flexible material with good printability on most 3D printers. With a Shore A hardness level of 95 it will allow you to create a new range of parts and by adjusting infill and perimeter settings it's possible to have full control over the flexibility of your prints.
